The World According to Fashion presents fashion through our perspective at Media Standard New York. We want the audience to experience the visual of our definition of fashion and what it represents to us. We have six different styles from high fashion to casual streetwear. All pieces will incorporate a modern aesthetic.
High Fashion
The first set will include a display of gowns, unique fabrics, vibrant colors, and an elegant style for a sophisticated look
Streetwear
Our second look incorporates an urban tone. Ready-to-wear clothes that are simple yet make a huge statement. There is a mix of oversized pieces, patterns, and bold colors to achieve this vibe.
Nightlife
Our nightlife collection involves a series of ‘90s-inspired mini dresses. This is a simple yet sexy, formfitting look. Sheer, satin, and silk fabrics really emphasize this style.
Edgy
This eccentric style draws in mystery. It is a very unique punk-sexy look. Bold prints, asymmetrical cutouts, and neon colors can achieve this look.
Swimwear
The swimwear will be a mix of older styles with a modern twist. High-waisted fit for one-pieces. Also including denim and metallic materials for two-pieces.
